....We have four types of self catering accommodation: Auchingoul Cottage, Swallow Cottage, the Log Cabin and Auchingoul Bothy.

....Although we are known as the forgotten part of the North East of Scotland, if you come here to visit we are sure you will want to come back again. It is a very beautiful part of Scotland, and we are in a good spot as we are rural but not too far from the towns - like Huntly, Turriff, Banff, Elgin and nearby fishing villages.

....It is ideal for walking, cycling, surfing, following the Whisky Trail or the Castle Trail, exploring rugged coastline, visiting pretty fishing villages, salmon and trout fishing, pony trekking, golf, visiting National Trust for Scotland properties - and even skiing, which is within one hour’s drive.

     Deveron Valley Cottages provide B&B and Self Catering Accommodation, including a picturesque Log Cabin. We are on the edge of the Grampian Hills, less than one hour from Aberdeen Airport, in the midst of the Whisky and Castle trails. Our standards are amongst the best in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

     There are lots of things to do nearby, including walking, golfing, salmon and trout fishing, skiing in the Highlands and surfing the waves of Scotland's sandy beaches at Sandend and Banff. You can also visit unspoilt fishing villages like Crovie, Pennan, Gardenstown, Portsoy and Cullen.

     Big events in the area include Fochabers Speyfest, Dufftown Whisky Festivals, Portsoy Boat Festival, Turriff Show, Keith Show and various local highland games.
